We have often seen the question:
“Why should I appoint a Social Media Manager rather than doing it yourself?

If you prefer the social media marketing of your business yourself, then you have 100% control over posting, content creation, copywriting, engagement etc. You can also argue that a DIY is better because, as a business owner, you understand your business and target market better than an external person. Also, if you made a mistake or you’re just not getting the reach you want, then you can hold yourself accountable. Most importantly, it doesn’t cost you anything.
However, on the other side… Opting for a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Here are 4 reasons why you should appoint a SMM:
1. Building Brand Recognition - as business owner, you would like to focus on branding through regular, consistent posts and online presence. A SMM has to “know how” to do this.
2. Achieving Goals in Less Time - by handing over the function of the full-time management of your socials, it provides you more time to focus on what’s important, like running your business.
3. Dedicated Marketing Time - As a business owner, you are so busy with management tasks. If you appoint a Social Media Manager, you have the peace of mind that your marketing is taken care of.
4. Social Media Sites often regularly update their Interface - The mighty Algorithm is constantly changing. A Social Media Manager would be up to date with all the changes and subsequently alter the marketing strategy.
